Advisory Parks Board
The advisory park board shall act soley in a fact-finding, recommendatory and advisory capacity to the City Council and it shall be its duty to consider and study and promote publicly the reasonable needs of park facilities and activities in which the city might participate. For more information see Section 16 of the Eaton Rapids City Code.

Board of Review
The function of the Board of Review is to revise and correct assessments;
it shall hear the complaints of all persons considering themselves
aggrieved by assessments. If it appears that any person or property
has been wrongfully assessed or omitted from the tax roll, the board
shall correct the roll in such a manner as it deems just.
Meetings: 2nd Monday in March and for two successive days thereafter.

The City Council is the legislative and governing body of the city
and has powers and authority to adopt such laws, ordinances and resolutions

Downtown Development Authority/TIF Authority
The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is a body created under the authority of P.A. 197 of 1975, as amended, for the purposes of promoting growth and preventing deterioration in the business district, to create and implement development plans, to issue bonds and to utilize tax increment financing.
Meetings: 2nd Friday of every month at 7:00 a.m. in City Hall, 200 S. Main St.

LDFA Board
The Local Development Finance Authority is a body created under the authority of P.A. 281 of 1986, as amended, to encourage local development, prevent conditions of unemployment and promote growth, create and implement a development plan, acquire interests in real and personal property, and to utilize tax increment financing.

for re-zoning, lot splits, site plan approval, special land use permits
and variances and giving recommendations to the City Council for
