- All members of the ERFD are trained to the Michigan Firefighter’s
Training Council level of Firefighter II and Hazardous-Materials
Operations level.
- We conduct Monthly training sessions on various
subjects and have numerous weekend drills throughout the year.
- All line Officers are trained to a minimum of Fire Officer
I.
- All Chief Officers are trained to a minimum of Fire Officer
II
- We train on Confined Space Rescue, Vehicle Rescue, Hazardous
Material Response, Rapid Intervention Team, and Water Rescue.
